Since February 1, 2023, Black Panther Wakanda Forever is available on Disney+ (VPN). On February 22, the documentary series " Voices Rising: the music of Wakanda Forever " will also be available on Disney+. Marvel allowed Ryan Coogler to make a sincere film about mourning and traditions in which the African and Hispanic communities are represented with respect for their culture. In this film, women inherently have a major role without it being marketing or a fad. The main cast:
- ♀️ Letitia Wright/Shuri 🇬🇾 🇬🇧
- ♂️ Tenoch Huerta/Namor 🇲🇽
- ♀️ Angela Bassett/Queen Ramonda 🇺🇸
- ♀️ Dominique Thorne/Iron Heart 🇺🇸
- ♀️ Lupita Nyong'o/Nakia 🇰🇪 🇲🇽
- ♂️ Winston Duke/M'Baku 🇹🇹
- ♀️ Danai Gurira/Okoye 🇺🇸
- ♀️ Mitzi Mabel Cadena/Namora 🇲🇽
- ♂️ Alex Livinalli/Attuma 🇻🇪 🇺🇸
I can't talk about this movie without mentioning Chadwick Boseman 🙏 on the one hand and especially for the music: Ludwig Göransson 🎼🎶. Ryan and Ludwig managed to see their vision through to the end despite Chadwick's death while that the first version of the script was completely written. I suggest you listen to this musical episode of the podcast on Spotify , in which I develop my analysis of the film and the music to arrive at this alternative ending proposal that answers the following question 📝
Why Black Panther Wakanda Forever Could Have Had an Even Better Ending?
"Tell me what you would have thought of the movie if the final fight had happened this way. Let's say we pick up from the moment Namor impales Shuri against the rock. She manages to break the spear and free herself from the rock..."
To know what happens next, listen to the episode 😝. All I can tell you is that in this alternative ending, Shuri will bear the scars of her time on the path to vengeance. This film is great because we accompany Shuri in her torments and her transformation following the trials she faces. In my opinion, the script and especially the music lead to this ending which goes to the end of Shuri's transformation with all the physical after-effects it can leave. By that I mean that Shuri's face will be marked by the scars of her torments. In the third opus, one of the interesting things to develop would be how to take on her new role with this new appearance?
I tried as best I could to contact Aurélie Konaté (French dubbing of Shuri) to ask her to play the text that I imagined but without success. If you like it, do not hesitate to tag her with the link of the episode. I would so much like to publish an episode with her voice and her talent as a dubbing actress.
